2024 CIVIL SERVICE WEEK COMMENCES WITH A JUMA’AT PRAYER

The 2024 Civil Service Week kicks off today, Friday, 14th June 2024, with a Juma’at Prayer at the National Mosque, Abuja. This year’s theme is “Educate an African Fit for the 21st Century: Building Resilient Education Systems for Increased Access to Inclusive, Lifelong, Quality and Relevant Learning in Africa.” This was contained in a statement signed by Mohammed A. Ahmed, Director, Communications.

Other activities lined up for the weeklong celebration are slated for Wednesday, 19th, Thursday, 20th, Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd, and Sunday, 23rd June, 2024. They are a Virtual Interactive Session with Civil Servants, a Parley with Media Executives, a Public Service Lecture and Public Presentation of a Civil Service Culture Handbook, the Commissioning of FISH Housing Estate at Gwagwalada, Sports and Aerobics, Award and Gala Night and finally, an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service, respectively.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR is hereby inviting public servants, stakeholders, the media, as well as the general public to join in the celebrations. All events will be streamed live on the OHCSF’s social media platforms.
