Invitation To Participate At The 2022 Edition Of The Women Entrepreneurs And Executives In Tech Summit
TechLife Media & Communications Ltd., organisers of the annual Nigerian Women Entrepreneurs and Executives in Tech Summit (WEETS) is set to hold the 2022 edition of the Conference and wishes to enlist the support and collaboration of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) to feature prominently in this year’s summit.
The central objective of WEETS is to, among other things, inspire women and girls to take on entrepreneurship opportunities, leadership position and play active roles in the evolving global digital economy. We strongly believe this objective aligns measurably with one of the focal areas which the POWA leadership has been driving at encouraging officers’ wives and girls in particular to participate in various skill acquisitions involving digital tools.
Motivated by the successes recorded during the 2021 edition of the Summit, which took place at Four Point by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos last September, with impressive participation of key stakeholders from the private and public sector in the nation’s ICT industry with far-reaching resolutions reached, TechLife Media & Communications Ltd., is rallying POWA’s support for the success of this year’s event.
Therefore, this year’s event will, among others, highlight opportunities available for women/girls by bridging the digital divide while expanding new ideas on ICT and telecoms, thereby enhancing the positioning of women/girls to effectively play a value-driven role in the Nigerian tech space.
Hence, the Orgainsers of WEETS 2022 with the theme: RESKILLING WOMEN & GIRLS TO THRIVE IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY, scheduled to take place on September 15, 2022, at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way, Ikeja, Lagos at 10:00am, hereby requests POWA’s supports for the success of this event in the following ways:
