Senator Elisha Ishaku Abbo, representing Adamawa state, has tongue lashed the Senate President Godswill Akpabio for Plotting his removal from the Senate.
Abbo lost his seat at the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Monday.
The federal lawmaker confirmed that the court voided his election and then ruled in favour of Amos Yohanna, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Describing himself as a “hero of democracy, ” he explained that five senators have been penciled down for sack for refusing to support Akpabio becoming the President of the Senate.
“They told me I would be removed. Others are Orji Uzor Kalu and three others” he refused to mention.
Senator Abbo had on May 11, 2019, slapped a lady at a sex toy shop in Abuja. As such, the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered Senator Elisha Abbo (PDP), Adamawa North to pay the sum of N50m to Osimibibra Warmate for assault.
