…REITERATES IN TRAINING AND HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT
The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Dr. Solomon Arase, retired Inspector General of Police has said that training and human capital development will remain the cornerstone of his administration in the Commission.
Dr. Arase spoke when he received Alhaji Sabiu Abubakar Bello, Assistant Director, Research and Documentation at the All Progressive Congress (APC), National Secretariat, Abuja where he declared his intention to train as many Staff of the Commission as possible.
He said he believes in training and human capital development and noted that staff of the Commission currently on strategic training across the country are pathfinders of a new Police Service Commission anchored on Staff Development.
The PSC Chairman said he is a product of self-development and will do everything possible to inculcate in the Staff of the Commission the spirit of a desire for self-development.
He said he will continue to explore more strategic training opportunities for staff of the Commission.
Alhaji Abubakar Bello donated some books to the Commission’s library and expressed his genuine attraction to the PSC Chairman and what he has done for the country in the area of security management. He said he was delighted to formally meet him in person and thanked him for investing in human development which he believes will be more harnessed through books and journals.
