The operatives of the FCT Police Command attached to Iddo Police Division on July 9, 2024, at about 9:00 p.m., acting on credible intelligence, trailed and arrested one Nuhu Ezra ‘m’ of Gosa Kipikipi village, Lugbe, Abuja, with a human skull and bones.
Disclosing this in a statement, Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, said the suspect, who was found with the body parts upon interrogation, stated that he picked them up from the bush while hunting at Kuje and had the intention to sell the body parts for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000).
The Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Benneth C. Igweh, has ordered that a thorough investigation be conducted to ascertain the bearer of the body parts, the intended buyer, if the suspect killed anyone to have the body parts, and how long the suspect has been in the alleged business.
