The Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Benneth C. Igweh, on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, decorated the 620 newly promoted Inspectors serving under the Command to the substantive rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP11) at the Command Headquarters, Abuja.
In a statement by the Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the CP appreciated the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and the Police Service Commission (PSC), for the meritorious promotion.
He extended his hearty congratulations to the newly promoted officers and charged them to sit up and handle professionally the responsibilities and challenges that come with the new ranks they have been elevated to.
