A 46-year-old pedophilia, Michael Nwoha, has been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command for allegedly having carnal knowledge with three small boys whose ages are six, 14 and 17 years on different occasions.
The suspect is a native of Izuakoli in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State but resident at No.10 Uke Street, 3-3 Nkwelle Ezunaka in Oyi LGA of Anambra State.
Confirming the arrest of the suspect, the Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Command, SP Haruna Mohammed said Nwoha was nabbed on October 2, 2020 about 8:30pm, following a tip off.
It was learnt that Police detectives attached to 3-3 Division arrested Nwoha, who has equally made a voluntary confessional statement to the police of committing the crime but blamed it on demons.
Meanwhile, SP Mohammed disclosed that the scene of crime has been visited by Police detectives and all the three victims – all boys – were taken to the hospital for medical examination.
Consequently, it was learnt, the Commissioner of Police, CP John B. Abang, has ordered for immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal investigation Department (CID) for discreet investigation after which the suspect would be brought to book through legal process.
