Osun Development Association (ODA), has condoled with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Armed Forces of Nigeria and the family of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja over his untimely death.
Lt Gen Lagbaja died in Lagos on Wednesday after a brief illness.
In a statement in Lagos on Thursday signed by Dr. Segun Aina, Chairman Osun Development Association (ODA) mourns the untimely passing of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, whose life was dedicated to the service and security of our nation.
“We extend our deepest condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Armed Forces, and the family of General Lagbaja.
“His unwavering commitment to peace and stability leaves an inspiring legacy that will be remembered for generations.
“Lt. General Lagbaja’s contributions to Nigeria’s unity and safety resonate strongly with the Osun community and beyond. His leadership, courage, and dedication exemplified the highest standards of military service, and his efforts to safeguard national security were invaluable to the progress of our country, adding that his absence is a profound loss for all Nigerians.
