
…AS POLICE ARE LEVERAGING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTS TO IMPROVE OPERATIONS
Following the launch of Operation Udo Ga Chi—Zero Kidnapping, especially during the Easter period and beyond, the Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Police Command, CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc MNIPS PhD, has continued to seek more stakeholders’ support for the Police Command and other security agencies in the State.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga,
“As part of the strategy, the CP is leveraging on community engagements, resources and intelligence to improve the security operations, especially building relationships with stakeholders that can help the Police Command to better understand the community needs and concerns, as well as improving on security in every area of the State.

“The CP visited Sir Emeka Offor, patrolled and monitored security deployment in Ihiala where he stopped by at Obijackson’s place and in Ukpo, greeted Chief Vincent Udobi.
“The CP was accompanied by the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), CC Joyce N. Alexander; Deputy Commissioner of Police in Charge of Operations, DCP Ibrahim Ezekiel; Deputy Commissioner of Police in Charge of the Criminal Investigation Department, DCP Mantu Chongs; Deputy Commissioner of Police in Charge of Finance and Administration, DCP Ngozi Ezeabata and other Senior Officers.

“The Police Command proposes to visit more stakeholders and is poised to carry everyone along to serve in their respective status.”
