In a move to address concerns and bring about productive and rewarding operations in the Nigerian Navy, the Navy Secretary (NAVSEC), Rear Admiral PC Nwatu and Commander Command Naval Drafting (CND), Rear Admiral MY Dahiru on Monday, 5th May, 2025 held a joint productive dialogue with Ratings in Eastern Naval Command, Calabar area.
According to Rear Admiral Nwatu, he called on the Ratings to use the opportunity to express their concerns and suggestions, emphasizing that it would inform policy decisions benefiting the Nigerian Navy.
Also, he highlighted upcoming innovations enhancing personnel capabilities and welfare, urging ratings to pursue higher education.
On his part, the CND elaborated on the command‘s activities which included the mother base concept and the SO1 Drafting coordination and others.
