CP ORUTUGU COMMENDS SECURITY AGENCIES FOR COORDINATION, RESILIENCE IN ENHANCING SAFETY IN ANAMBRA

CP ORUTUGU COMMENDS SECURITY (1)

The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc MNIPS Phd, has commended men and officers of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies for their improved coordination and resilience in enhancing safety and security in the state during the visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The CP also expressed gratitude to the people of Anambra for their support and affirmation that the state is safe.

A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, reads:

“Thanks, Ndi Anambra, for their support and affirmation that the State is safe, having witnessed a hitch-free, well-attended dignitaries and Stakeholders’ weddings in Ihiala and hosting of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Awka.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc MNIPS Phd, today, 8th of May 2025, commended the Police and other Security agencies for their improved coordination and resilience in enhancing Safety in the State.

“The CP’s commendation reflects his appreciation for the security agencies, as well as for Ndi Anambra, for their support/cooperation. He further affirmed that the State is safe, having witnessed a hitch-free, well-attended dignitaries and Stakeholders’ weddings in Ihiala and hosting of the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria today, 8th May 2025, at Awka, the State Capital.

“The event also had in attendance the Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG Ben Nebolisa Okolo fdc, representing the Inspector General of Police.

“To this end, the Police Command believes that prioritizing security coordination and collaboration is a proactive approach to addressing security concerns and promoting a safer, more secure environment for all.”
