GTCO Food and Drink 2025 Festival was a huge success just as previous years. This time, a lot of innovations were brought to bare by participants and vendors with over 200 stalls.
The Corporation Drive, Victoria Island, where GTCO Centre is domiciled, was besieged by thousands of the Gen Z, youths and the very old in their flamboyant dresses, some having cupped chocolates and ice-creams tugged in their hands.
For eight consequent years, GTCO have brought Nigerians together as food enthusiasts and local businesses gather to celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Nigeria.
Among the participating businesses was Richerland Agro, a company that specialized in plantain chips and other agro products.
In an exclusive chat with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Richerland Agro, Mrs. Olayide Johnson, revealed her depth of excitement being at the GTCO Food Festival 2025 with all their products, which included Coconut Garri, Kuli Kuli (peanut cakes) Alata Sue Sue, groundnuts and our best-selling plantain chips.

She disclosed while speaking on the hygiene factor and production environment that their products are prepared in hygienically friendly ambience with exquisitely packaged products that are available in quantum for both retail and wholesale to customers nationwide.

Without mincing words, she further disclosed that after every festival, the in-flow of customers requesting for their products have been massive and that also boosted their sales capacity.
“After the events, I usually have massive sales, and this year is no exception. Our customers are happy to see us, and we’re selling out fast. We’re particularly popular among those who love our Coconut Garri and plantain chips.”
“I don’t think the economy has affected our sales. People are happy spending, especially in this environment where we’re having fun. The agro business is moving higher, and the government is encouraging it in every way. We’re grateful for the support and suggested that it could be even bigger.
While commending GTCO, she called for expansion and making the festival bigger as the customer base and vendors are growing astronomically. “It’s a great platform for us to showcase our products and connect with customers,” Mrs. Olayide Johnson reiterated.
