MPB GETS NEW SPOKESPERSON

MPB GETS NEW SPOKESPERSON 2

A new spokesperson has been appointed for the Military Pensions Board (MPB), Abuja.

He is Squadron Leader Aliyu Mohammed, who takes over from Sqn Ldr Abdullahi Gambo, who has been redeployed to Tactical Air Command, Murkudi, Benue state.

He effectively took over the role as image maker of the Board on May 12, 2025, marking the end of the former spokesperson, Sqn Ldr Abdullahi Gambo whom many described as an ebullient officer.

It was learnt that Sqn Ldr A Mohammad has held several appointments before his recent posting to MPB, a body responsible for the payment of military pensioners.

Such appointments include SO2 Public Relations at Mobility Command Yenagoa; Public Relations Officer (PRO), at 407 Air Combat Training Group Kainji; PRO 553 Base Services Wing Enugu; Assistant Director Movement, Nigerian Air Force Headquarters Abuja.

Others include PRO Center for Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons, Kaduna; Command Public Relations Officer, Headquarters Mobility Command, Yenagoa.
