EASTERN NAVAL COMMAND HOLDS INTERDENOMINATIONAL SERVICE

Officers and men from Headquarters Eastern Naval Command and units under command in the Calabar area held an Interdenominational Church Service to commemorate the Nigerian Navy 69th Anniversary Celebrations at the Roman Catholic Church, Akim Barracks Calabar.

The Fleet Commander Eastern Fleet, Rear Admiral Kolawole Olumide Oguntuga represented the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) EAST, Rear Admiral Saheed A Akinwande at the church service.

Special Anniversary prayers were offered while a message by the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla was delivered by the Fleet Commander Eastern Fleet .
