FCT POLICE COMMAND MEETS WITH LEGAL AID COUNCIL2

The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Ajao Adewale, psc, mnips, alongside the management team of the FCT Police Command, met with representatives of the Legal Aid Council on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the Office of the Commissioner of Police, FCT.

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, disclosed that the meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Police and the Legal Aid Council to promote access to justice, protect the rights of citizens, and ensure fair legal processes in line with the rule of law.

The FCT Police Command urges residents to be aware of their legal rights and obligations, and to seek proper legal guidance when necessary. We remain committed to building a safer and more just society through partnership with stakeholders and the community.
