
The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc MNIPS PhD has lauded stakeholders and community partners for their unwavering support towards strengthening the security structures across the State.
The CP expressed gratitude for the facelift carried out like the installation of solar-powered lights, and other support initiatives that have boosted Police visibility and operational efficiency.
The areas include Rapid Response Squad Awkuzu, Amichi Division, Neni Division, Umuchu Division, 33 Division, Dunkofia Division Oraifite Division, B Division, Ihiala, Amanuke, Awka, Onitsha and many other divisions in the State.
He emphasized that the task of ensuring safety in Anambra requires sustained collaboration between the Police and the public.

The CP disclosed that the Command is making arrangements for the official commissioning of these projects, which will further consolidate Police-Community relations and operational readiness in the State.
In the spirit of the season, the CP felicitated with Muslim faithful in the State on the celebration of Eid-ul-Mawlid, the birth of the Prophet.
He reassured Ndi Anambra of the Command’s determination to consolidate the gains already recorded, while calling for continued cooperation, intelligence sharing, and partnership in sustaining peace and security across the State, as disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command, Awka, SP Tochukwu Ikenga.
