The operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command responded swiftly to a distress call received from an unidentified caller in the early hours of today, September 12, 2025, and rescued about two persons seen lying in a pool of blood at Wuse 2, along Chicken House Junction in Abuja.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, disclosed that the police operatives, on getting to the scene, promptly rescued and rushed the victims who were still alive to the National Hospital for medical treatment.
She stated that members of the public who had gathered at the scene dispersed on sighting the police, as no suspects were arrested.
While the Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Ajao S. Adewale, psc, mnips, has directed the Divisional Police Officer, Wuse Division, to conduct an extensive investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident, members of the public are advised to go about their lawful businesses, as further details will be communicated in due course.
