The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI (AC OPHK), has killed several terrorists in the North East, and destroyed their structures in Borno State.
Disclosing this in Abuja on Thursday morning, the Director of Public Relations and Information (DOPRI), Headquarters, Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame said that the precision strikes were carried out on Wednesday, 17th September 2025, about 10:50 am.
The strike was based on intelligence and surveillance which confirmed unusual movements at Bula Madibale in the Gezuwa general area.
It was learnt that the Reconnaissance revealed a gathering of about 45 terrorists, while some arrived on motorcycles, others came with bicycles from different directions to join the assembly.

Air Cdre Ejodame further disclosed that two terrorist flags were hoisted at the location, underscoring its use as a stronghold and rallying point.
Therefore, acting on such a credible intelligence, the AC OPHK launched a coordinated air interdiction which eliminated several terrorists at the gathering point, while the flagged structure and other hostile assets at the gathering point were destroyed.
This operation underscores the NAF’s continued resolve to deny terrorists the freedom to regroup, reinforce, or mount further attacks on innocent communities.
It also reassures Nigerians that the Armed Forces remain fully committed to restoring peace and stability, particularly in the North East.
