The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc, minps, PhD, on Sunday, 28th September 2025, joined other State Service Commanders in a solemn gathering at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral, Awka.

The event brought together leaders, clergy, and citizens to offer prayers for national unity, peace, and progress. This underscores the commitment of security agencies in Anambra State to safeguarding stability and deepening patriotism as the State celebrates this milestone of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, as discussed in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga.
