The Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFIAM), in partnership with the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), Kaduna, have successfully concluded a five-day capacity-building programme for 35 instructors.

The programme focuses on modern teaching methodologies and assessment techniques.

This marks the second phase of the collaboration between both institutions, reinforcing the Nigerian Air Force’s commitment to strengthening academic delivery, enhancing professional standards, and building a knowledge-driven force.

The training comes at a pivotal time as NAFIAM prepares to launch its newly approved National Diploma programmes in Public Administration, Music Technology, Mass Communication, and Hospitality Management.

The programme approved by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, align with the NAF’s vision of broadening academic opportunities for both military personnel and civilian students.

By equipping instructors with advanced teaching skills, the programme ensures that NAFIAM is well-positioned to deliver quality education that supports the Service’s overall mission readiness and human capital development.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, NTI Director and Chief Executive, Professor Sadiya Sani Daura, represented by Dr (Mrs) Mobolaji Omobola Oyedeji, commended the instructors for their discipline and participation.

She urged them to apply and share their newly acquired knowledge.

The Commandant of NAFIAM, Air Vice Marshal Mohammed Yusuf, expressed appreciation to NTI for its sustained partnership and assured that capacity development for instructors would remain continuous.

He emphasized that the trained instructors are now agents of change, while tasking them with enriching the learning environment and advancing the Nigerian Air Force’s broader objective of excellence in education and service delivery.
