The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, has reaffirmed the transformative power of digital literacy and technology during the Midterm Assessment and Interactive Session of the National Scholarship Programme for Tertiary Education under the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).

The initiative, championed by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, awarded scholarships and laptops to more than 47 students, underscoring her commitment to empowering Nigerian youth with education and digital skills in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which places education at the heart of national growth.

Speaking at the event, Inuwa drew on his personal journey to highlight how technology can open doors to opportunities and transform lives. He urged the scholars to embrace resilience, innovation, and continuous learning to build successful careers.

The session, which combined ceremonial recognition with interactive dialogue, was attended by prominent dignitaries, including the Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, and the Wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Shettima. Discussions centred on progress, accountability, and sustainability, while reaffirming RHI’s vision of preparing young Nigerians to thrive in a knowledge-driven economy.
