
The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, has received a delegation from the Youth Entrepreneurship Investment Platform (YEIB) at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja, in a move aimed at deepening collaboration on youth innovation and digital entrepreneurship.
The meeting focused on strengthening strategic stakeholder engagement and leveraging NITDA’s expertise in technology and policy development. Discussions explored NITDA’s potential role on YEIB’s advisory board, collaboration on the implementation of the Nigeria Startup Act, and support for YEIB’s programmes through technical and policy-driven partnerships.
Inuwa reaffirmed NITDA’s commitment to supporting YEIB’s innovative vision, describing youth entrepreneurship as a critical pillar of Nigeria’s digital economy. He expressed the agency’s readiness to work with YEIB in driving impactful initiatives that empower young Nigerians, foster innovation, and create opportunities in the digital space.
