NITDA DG INSPIRES STUDENTS ON INTERNATIONAL

In commemoration of the International Day of the Boy Child, students of Police Day Secondary School, accompanied by their teachers and Commandant, paid a courtesy visit to the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) headquarters in Abuja.

The delegation was warmly received by the Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, who delivered an inspiring message to the young students. He encouraged them to begin their journey to success by first understanding themselves, recognising their inherent value, and setting clear goals and aspirations.

“Every boy child has the potential to grow into a responsible leader. The first step is self-awareness, then setting dreams that will shape your journey to greatness,” Inuwa advised.

The visiting students described the DG as a visionary icon and source of inspiration, noting his career achievements and leadership as a model for young people aspiring to make meaningful contributions to society.

As part of the visit, the students toured NITDA’s Computer Emergency Readiness and Response Team (CERRT) facility, where they gained firsthand exposure to cybersecurity operations and the technologies protecting Nigeria’s digital ecosystem.

The event highlighted NITDA’s commitment to youth empowerment, digital awareness, and mentorship, reflecting its broader mandate of nurturing the next generation of innovators and responsible citizens.
