CCEME URGES RETIRED SNCO TO BE GOOD AMBASSADOR OF NIGERIAN ARMY

CCEME Urges Retired SNCO To Be Good 1

…ORGANISES SEND-FORTH FOR ADDAPR

The Commander Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (CCEME), Major General Baba Umaru Yahaya, has commended three retiring Senior Non-Commissioned officers for their loyalty, dedication, and selfless service to the Corps and the Nigerian Army at large.

He urged the soldiers to continue to live as patriots and ambassadors of the Nigerian Army wherever they find themselves, stressing that retirement from active service does not end their duty to uphold Army values of loyalty, discipline, and integrity.

Similarly, Major General Baba Umaru Yahaya eulogized the outgone acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations (Ag DDAPR), Headquarters Nigerian Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Captain Nuradeen Bello, for his contributions in various capacities that had strengthened the Corps’ operational effectiveness and enhanced the image of the Nigerian Army.

Gen Yahaya spoke during a send-forth held recently at the Sule Labaran Conference Room, Headquarters Nigerian Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Bonny Cantonment, Lagos Island, Lagos State.

Affected SNCO who had successfully concluded their meritorious years of service in the Nigerian Army were Army Warrant Officer Linus Eze, Master Warrant Officer Wugha Patience, and Warrant Officer Ladan Wunti.

Responding on behalf of the honourees, Captain Nuradeen Bello expressed deep appreciation to the Chief of Army Staff for providing an enabling environment to serve, as well as to the CCEME and senior officers for their mentorship and support.

He pledged to continue to uphold the good image of the Nigerian Army and remain committed to service to the nation.

Lieutenant Oiza Ehinlaiye, Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations, Headquarters Nigerian Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Lagos, added in a statement that highlights of the occasion included goodwill messages and the presentation of souvenirs.
