…COMMENDS PERSONNEL AT CHECKPOINTS FOR DEDICATION AND SACRIFICE

The Anambra State Police Command has opened a conversation on the rights and welfare of police officers serving across the State, underscoring the need for continuous support, respect, and recognition of the sacrifices made by law enforcement personnel in maintaining peace and security.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Command noted that police officers deployed at various checkpoints and duty posts have continued to demonstrate exceptional resilience, professionalism, and dedication to service, even under demanding and high-risk conditions.

According to the statement, the Command’s leadership recognizes the critical role these officers play in safeguarding communities and ensuring the safety of lives and property across Anambra State. Their tireless commitment, it added, has contributed significantly to public confidence in the State’s security framework.

“The Command appreciates the commitment and sacrifices of our personnel, particularly those on field operations, whose vigilance and professionalism continue to keep the State safe,” the statement read in part.

Reaffirming its dedication to the welfare of its workforce, the Command assured officers of ongoing efforts to improve operational conditions and strengthen internal support systems.

The statement concluded with a renewed pledge by the Command to maintain law and order, protect citizens, and uphold the dignity and rights of both the public and police personnel.
