
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Headquarters Logistics Command has announced motorists and residents around the Murtala Mohammed Airport axis in Lagos, that a 10km Walk/Jog Exercise will hold on Saturday, 18th October 2025.

Abigail Ologun disclosed in a statement that the exercise is part of ongoing efforts by the NAF to enhance the health, well-being, and operational readiness of its personnel.
During the exercise, some sections of the Airport Road and adjoining routes will be temporarily closed to public vehicular movement. The affected routes are: Murtala Muhammed Airport 2 to Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
She explained that the exercise will commence at 6am and will be concluded by 8am.
As a result, members of the public are advised to make use of alternative routes and comply with traffic directives from the NAF and security personnel who will be on ground to ensure safety and minimize inconvenience.
Squadron Leader Abigail Ologun reiterated that normal traffic flow will be restored immediately after the exercise.
The Command assures the public that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth, safe, and hitch-free exercise.
Therefore, the Nigerian Air Force sincerely regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the general public.
