REWARDING HARD WORK: AIR FORCE WAR COLLEGE NIGERIA DECORATES SENIOR OFFICERS

As a gale of promotion sweeps through the military, the Air Force War College Nigeria (AFWCN) has facilitated with its officers that earned promotion recently due to dent of hard work, dedication and commitment to duty.

The nine senior officers were promoted from the rank of Wing Commander to Group Captain, marking another milestone in their careers and recognizing their dedication, loyalty, and exceptional service to the nation.

The ceremony held at the Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Mess, Makurdi. In attendance were the Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command, AVM PO Obeya, the Commandant AFWCN, AVM PB Phillips, the President Mess Committee (PMC), as well as Maj Gen TO Umar (retd) and Brig Gen SK Usman (retd).

In his remarks, the PMC congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to uphold professionalism, discipline, and integrity. He also charged them to wear their new ranks with pride and humility as they assume higher responsibilities.

The Commandant AFWCN, AVM PB Phillips, described their promotion as a reward for dedication and hard work. He charged them to justify their confidence reposed by demonstrating exemplary leadership and renewed commitment to service.

The newly decorated officers, joined by their families and colleagues, expressed appreciation to the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar and Nigerian Air Force leadership for the confidence reposed in them, pledging renewed dedication to duty and service excellence.
