The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyede has decorated the immediate past Chief of Policy and Plans (Army), Lieutenant General Abdulsami Ibrahim.

He was decorated as he proceeds on his retirement from the Nigerian Army after 35 years of meritorious service.

The CDS wad joined at the investiture ceremony with Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu; the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Idi Abbas; the Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke and the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Lieutenant General Parker Undiandeye.

Others were Principal Staff Officers from Defence and Services Headquarters; as well as family members, friends and well-wishers.
