A Pastor of Chapel of Revelation Ministry, Ajegunle, Lagos, identified as Pastor Elijah Emenandu has been arrested and paraded by the Lagos State Police Command for engaging in sodomy.
The case of Sodomy was reported by one Victoria Ajoku, a female against the suspect.
However, police investigation revealed that for the past eight months, Pastor Elijah Emenandu had been having canal knowledge of Victoria Ajoku’s all-male children named Chigozie Ajoku, 20 years, Favour Ajoku, 18 years and Promise Ajoku, 15 years.
According to the State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi who brief the press on Thursday said the pastor has been charged to court.
CP Alabi, who was represented by the spokesperson of the Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin also paraded one Augustine Odiah and Oyebamiji Nurudeen for defilement and conspiracy as they lured Deborah Adeun, 16 years old female into a school toilet and defiled her.
Also defiled was another 13 years old female identified as Amarachi Okafor by one Musa Zakari, aged 21 years before the case was reported by one Joy Ifeoma, the mother of the victim.
It was learnt that suspect is a security guard in the house before luring the victim into his room where he had canal knowledge of her.
Also paraded was one Olusegun Olusoji, a 35 years old man who conspired with others to rob a Japanese in his residence.
According to SP Hundeyin, the duo had on January 1, 2020, at about 2300hrs robbed one Japanese (name withheld) an employee of Honda Automobile West Africa Limited in his Ikoyi residence by masked men wielding a gun, an axe and a stick.
It was gathered that the robbers collected his ATM card and transferred the sum of N1,000,000 from his First Bank account into the Zenith bank account of one Segun Soji.
The armed robbers went away with the ATM Card and used same to withdraw the sum of N1,729,850.
An investigation conducted led to the arrest of one Olusegun Olusoji, the owner of the Zenith Bank account to where the One Million Naira was transferred to.
He confessed to the crime and named one Sosoguto Theodore, 50, the victim’s cleaner as his accomplice.
However, the mask used during the robbery was also recovered and the suspects were charged to court on February 21, 2022, and remanded at Ikoyi prison.
