The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Anambra State Command, Mr. Osuala Edwin has charged the three officers from the command, DSC Chindo Chukwunweike, DSC Onubi Vincent and ASC I Okoye Florence Nonye, who recently passed out of course 001/2023 of NSCDC Command and Staff College Jos, Plateau State, to deploy the knowledge and skills learnt to the attainment of national security.
Mr. Osuala handed down the directive today Wednesday 23rd August, 2023, when he received them in his office. He congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the course, saying that their commitment to learning and dedication to duty will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the security architecture of the state.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Okadigbo Edwin, in a statement, said Mr. Osuala appreciated Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, the Commandant General of NSCDC for his visionary leadership in providing such worthwhile opportunities for on-the-job growth, saying that the training has moulded officers to meet the manpower requirements of the Corps necessary to execute the onerous task of tackling security challenges bedeviling the nation.
“On behalf of the Management, I welcome you back to the Command. I believe you must have been transformed into highly skilled and professional officers, poised to efficiently deliver on the Corps Mandate. It is my hope that you will deliver as expected” he concluded.
Responding on behalf of the participants, DSC Onubi Vincent, thanked the CG, the College Commandant; ACG David Bille, the State Commandant, and his management team for availing them the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and enhance their operational prowess to the nation.
The meeting ended with the symbolic presentation of Certificates.
