In its sustained fight against cultism, drug peddling and unlawful possession of firearms, the operatives of the Anambra State Police Command attached to the Special Anti-Cult Squad (SPACS) Enugwu Ukwu in the late hours of August 28, 2025, arrested one Ebuka Ubadigbo ‘M’, 35 years old at Nkpor-Umuoji Road, close to a building site in Idemili North LGA.
The Operatives also recovered two pump-action guns with two live cartridges and large quantities of substances suspected to be hard drugs.
Preliminary interrogation revealed that the suspect confessed to involvement in drug peddling and Investigations are ongoing to identify his accomplices and trace the source of the recovered firearms.
The suspect will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations, as disclosed by SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command, Awka.
