As the 90th Regular Recruitment intake into its ranks, the Nigerian Army has called on Cross River State youths to leverage on the opportunity and enlist into the force.

Disclosing this in Calabar on Monday, 8th September, 2025, the Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, 13 Brigade Nigerian Army, Captain Yemi Sokoya called on them to see the exercise as a golden opportunity for patriotic young men and women to serve their fatherland, pursue rewarding careers, and contribute to the peace and security of Nigeria.

It was gathered that the recruitment exercise online registration portal will open on 29th September 2025, urging interested applicants are to visit the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal and carefully follow the guidelines provided.

However, the process is absolutely free of charge, and applicants are strongly advised to beware of fraudsters or middlemen who may attempt to exploit them.

He further explained that the Nigerian Army remains committed to engaging vibrant and disciplined youths who are willing to uphold the noble values of loyalty, integrity, courage, and selfless service.

Enlistment into the Nigerian Army not only provides the honour of serving the nation but also grants access to professional training, career advancement, and diverse opportunities in fields such as engineering, medicine, ICT, logistics, and administration.

The Nigerian Army further appeals to traditional rulers, community leaders, parents, and guardians in Cross River State to sensitize and encourage their wards to take advantage of this opportunity adding that together, the youths can be empowered, strengthen national security, and build a more peaceful and united Nigeria.
