The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, PhD, has welcomed newly passed-out police constables deployed to the Command following their graduation from various police training colleges across the country.
Addressing the officers, CP Bakori congratulated them on successfully completing their training and officially joining the Nigeria Police Force, describing the Force as “a family built on discipline, dedication, and sacrifice in service to humanity.”

He reminded the new constables that their passing out marks the beginning of a lifelong commitment to serve and protect the nation. The Commissioner emphasized discipline as the foundation of effective policing, urging them to uphold professionalism, obey lawful orders, and maintain a neat appearance at all times.
In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, CP Bakori cautioned the officers on the use of social media, reiterating the Force’s Social Media Policy, which prohibits posting or sharing content while in uniform or on duty. Such acts, he said, could tarnish the image and professionalism of the Police Force.

The Commissioner also warned against corruption and misconduct, stressing the Command’s zero-tolerance stance toward any unethical behavior. He urged the officers to embrace integrity, accountability, and respect for human rights as guiding principles in their daily duties.
Welcoming them to the Kano State Command, CP Bakori encouraged the constables to serve their Local Government Areas of origin with dedication and pride, assuring them of the Command’s full support and guidance as they begin their policing careers.
He reaffirmed the Command’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property, preventing crime, and maintaining public order across the state.
