D PIMED INSPECTS PROJECTS AT WEST NAVAL COMMAND

The Director of Project Monitoring, Implementation, and Evaluation (D PIMED), Rear Admiral JO Okosun, has undertaken the inspection of various projects implemented by the Western Naval Command in Lagos.

During the inspection, he paid a courtesy visit to the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC),Western Naval Command, Rear Admiral MG Oamen at the Headquarters Western Naval Command, Apapa, Lagos State.

Rear Admiral Okosun explained that the purpose of the visit was to inspect various projects implemented by the Naval Headquarters (NHQ) in Lagos area and assess their progress.

In response, Rear Admiral Oamen noted that most of the projects implemented by Naval Headquarters are located within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) of the Western Naval Command.

He appreciated the indefatigability of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla for the valuable welfare projects initiated within the Command’s AOR.

Similarly, on Tuesday, 6th May, 2025, the D PIMED visited the permanent site of Forward Operating Base Lekki to inspect the progress of ongoing projects including the construction of administrative block, 16×1 Junior Officers’ accommodation, 16×2 Senior Rates’ accommodation, 24×1 Junior Rates’ accommodation, and road network.
