Nigerian Navy’s commitment to transparency and accountability in procurement processes, and its ability to consistently upheld standards in line with national regulations has been commended.

The commendation came from the Director General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, who, today, 29th August, 2025, paid a courtesy visit on the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, at the Naval Headquarters, Abuja.

Dr. Adedokun emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Navy and the BPP in strengthening due process and ensuring value for money in public expenditure.

In his response, the CNS appreciated the DG’s visit and assured him of the Navy’s readiness to deepen its partnership with the Bureau.

He stressed that the Service remains committed to strict compliance with procurement guidelines in the execution of its operational and administrative responsibilities.
