The Director General of the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), Mr. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, extends warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria, China, and across the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Maulud, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Mr. Tegbe, who leads the NCSP in fostering stronger collaboration between Nigeria and China, Nigeria’s leading development partner, urged Muslims to use this celebration as a moment of deep reflection on the life and legacy of the Prophet. He emphasized the Prophet’s kindness, compassion, and role as a spiritual guide, calling on believers to embody these virtues in their daily lives.
He appealed to Nigerians to emulate the Prophet’s teachings and values, noting that the Holy Prophet Muhammad stood for peace, unity, and justice during his lifetime. He further urged the Muslim faithful to use this year’s Eid el-Maulud celebration as an opportunity to pray fervently for peaceful coexistence, stability, and security across the nation and the world at large.
Reaffirming NCSP’s commitment, Mr. Tegbe stated that under his leadership, the organization will continue to bridge policy and execution by coordinating efforts across government agencies, the private sector, and diplomatic entities.
This, he noted, will ensure that Nigeria maximizes its trade and investment relations with China for sustainable economic advancement.
He added that NCSP’s activities are fully aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at fast-tracking national development and positioning the country as Africa’s industrial powerhouse.
