
…DIGNITARIES SHOWERS ENCOMIUM ON CELEBRANT

The former Chairman of Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan on Sunday, 12th October, 2025, celebrated his 50th birthday in Lagos, using gospel hymns and songs to make the event more colourful and memorable.

With his family, he praised Almighty God for his faithfulness and blessings upon his life.
The ceremony was attended by eminent personalities from all walks of life, including top security Chiefs.
Highpoint of the colourful event was when the celebrant, Dr. Ogunsan mounted the podium and rendered praises to Almighty God for all he has done for him and family all these years.
This was followed by members of his family who took turn to render special numbers before the audience. First among them was his daughter, Seun Ogunsan, who sang special praise song to thank God for his father’s life.
Also, Joy Ogunsan, who sang a special number titled: “Eledumare,” she used the song to give glory to God for his father’s life. However, the event came to its apogee when the wife of the celebrant, Dr.Ajoke Ogunsan mounted the stage and rendered about five special songs to praise Almighty God for his husband’s life.
Most of the guests at the event took turn to speak about the Man Dr. Ayo Ogunsan. Among them were a retired Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG), Abiodun Alabi, who described Ogunsan as a wonderful man that has contributed a lot for the security in Lagos State.

According to him, the celebrant is dependable brother and friend who he holds in a very high esteem. Also in his remarks, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Moshood Jimoh said when he resumed as CP in Lagos, the first person he spoke with was Dr.Ayo Ogunsan and has enjoyed his enormous support.
Top Security Chiefs that graced the occasion included Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2 Lagos, AIG Fayoade Adegoke, AIG Margaret Ochala, FCID Alagbon, CSP Elijah Ayo, DPO Mancenter Division, CSP Taiwo Akinwunmi, DPO Ikeja Division, SP Kamal Momoh, DPO Apapa Division, Deacon Sylvester Ebodaghe Publisher and Editor-in-Chief National Daily Newspapers, Mr Emeka Izeze, Former MD of The Guardian Newspapers and Chief Adebukola Adebutu Kensington aka Baba Ijebu.
In a special remark the celebrant Dr. Ogunsan used a special moment to sing special song to honour Baba Ijebu for all he has been doing to assist the less privileged in the society.
According to him, Adebutu Kensington is his greatest benefactor ever in life and wish him happy birthday in advance as he is about to clock 90 years few days to come.
In his appreciation message Ogunsan wrote: “I sincerely thank everyone for making this event so remarkable. Your presence and warm wishes truly made this day special and unforgettable. I am blessed to have such amazing friends and family around me. Thank you for the beautiful memories and for making the 2025 Gospel Hymns and songs Birthday Concert a memorable experience.
