Addressing the communities, CP Dantawaye reaffirmed the Police Command’s commitment to professional, accountable, and community-focused policing. He noted that effective security relies heavily on shared responsibility, mutual trust, and open communication between the police and the public. He encouraged residents to remain vigilant, collaborate closely with the police, and provide credible information that could help prevent crime and maintain peace.
The Commissioner also directed the Divisional Police Officers of Durumi and Mpape to justify the confidence reposed in them by residents, ensure improved service delivery, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism in their duties.
The FCT Police Command urged residents to report suspicious activities or persons through its emergency lines: 08032003913 and 08068587311.
