
The Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Miller G. Dantawaye, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening inter-agency cooperation in the nation’s capital through strategic engagements with heads of other security formations.
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, CP Dantawaye paid courtesy visits to the Commander, Guards Brigade, Brigadier General Adebisi Onasanya; Commander, Naval Base Abuja, Commodore O.E. Oladipo; Commander, 053 Nigerian Air Force Camp, Group Captain H.S. Ibrahim; and the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) FCT Command, Dr. Olusola Odumosu.

According to a statement issued by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the visits formed part of the Commissioner’s ongoing familiarization tour aimed at deepening inter-agency collaboration, intelligence sharing, and coordinated operational strategies to strengthen the security architecture of the Territory.
During the visits, CP Dantawaye stressed that effective policing and national security depend on unity of purpose and continuous partnership among all security agencies. He commended the existing cooperation and urged sustained synergy to tackle emerging security challenges within the FCT.

In response, the various commanders reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Police and maintaining the collaborative efforts that have contributed to peace and stability in the nation’s capital.
The engagements concluded with renewed pledges of partnership, mutual respect, and shared dedication to ensuring the safety of residents across the Federal Capital Territory.
