The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, CP Miller Dantawaye, on Wednesday paid a familiarization visit to the State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), FCT Command, as part of efforts to deepen inter-agency cooperation and enhance security coordination across the Territory.

The visit, which took place at the DSS FCT Command Headquarters, focused on strengthening intelligence sharing, joint operations, and coordinated responses to emerging security challenges in the nation’s capital.

Speaking during the engagement, CP Dantawaye commended the DSS for its steadfast role in safeguarding national security and reiterated the importance of collaboration among sister security agencies. He stressed that sustained synergy, mutual trust, and the timely exchange of intelligence are key to maintaining the relative peace and safety currently enjoyed in the FCT.

In his remarks, the FCT DSS Director expressed appreciation for the visit, pledging his Command’s continued partnership with the Police and other security agencies in ensuring the safety of residents and the protection of critical infrastructure within the Territory.

Described as both strategic and productive, the visit underscores the renewed commitment of security agencies to a unified approach in delivering effective and efficient security services to the people of the FCT.
