The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has rescued a victim, Sani Dauje, who was abducted by a kidnapper at the Dobi Kwalita area in Gwagwalada of the FCT.
According to a statement by the FCT Police Command Spokesperson, Josephine Ade, the successful operation was carried out based on credible intelligence received from well-meaning members of the Dobi Kwalita area of the FCT, about the assembly of a number of persons suspected to be kidnappers.
She said the operation was aided with the synergy of the military personnel of 176 Battalion and the local vigilante, who were able to repel the kidnappers and arrested a member of the criminal syndicate, one 18-year-old Usman Babangida, rescued one Sani Dauje, age yet unknown, a resident of Dobi Kwalita area of the FCT, recovered two fire Arms with breach numbers 56-128031015, which is in the custody of the Police and 1974HKOOO85 currently in the custody of the military operatives both with 21 and 23 rounds of live ammunition respectively.

The suspect is currently at the State Criminal Investigation Department as monitoring continues in the area, while the effort to apprehend fleeing members of the criminal syndicate is at top gear.
