Governor Charls Soludo has completed the construction of the 2.8 km Nawfia Road, in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, which connects the Awka-Onitsha Old Road to the Awka-Onitsha Expressway.
This is part of the governor’s ongoing infrastructural development which has transformed Anambra into a preferred destination for investors and economic activities of people in the state.
The completion of the road has received commendation from the people of the communities in Njikoka LGA, which attest to Governor Soludo’s regeneration projects of the various communities and cities in Anambra State.
Speaking on thursday, one of the community leaders of the Njikoka LGA, Adolphus Chukwuemeka, applauded Governor Soludo’s administration for the economic and infrastructural advancement of Anambra, and particularly the 2.8 Nawfia Road, he said, “On behalf of the people, l commend the good works of Governor Soludo, and pray that God should continue to guide him. We love him and his style of governance.”
Recently, Governor Soludo completed the construction of the 2.62 km Bank Road in Nnewi, which connects to St. Mary’s Cathedral Church in Uruagu Nnewi. This is part of his administration’s ongoing urban infrastructural development plan for Anambra state.
The newly constructed road, which was in a deplorable condition, has been brought back to life, as asphalt has now been fully laid on it. Another phase comprises street lights and proper drainage systems.
According to Soludo’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the governor’s infrastructural drive is a new phase of development in making Anambra the Dubai of Africa, an initiative that underscores his commitment to transforming the state into a destination for businesses and economic activities to thrive.
