A 32-year-old man, Afeez Olalere, has been arrested by the Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command after killing his younger brother for money rituals.
Making the shocking confession, he explained that his mother took him to a herbalist who told him that if he wants to be successful in the yahoo business, he would have to sacrifice life and which must be that of a sibling.
According to him, the parts of the body needed to prepare the concoction are his “thumbs, his hair, fingers and a passport photograph.”
Narrating the gory details further, Olalere said, “So, we went back home and thought about it. Then, my mother suggested we use my younger brother since he is just 21 years old.
“She also brought the poison which we gave him to eat. He died within 20 minutes after consuming the food. I was the one who cut out the body parts needed,” he added.
After we might have harvested the essential parts needed, “We wrapped his dead body and headed to the mortuary.”
However, “Nemesis caught up with us during a stop and search operation along Itamaga Ikorodu, Lagos State by the police and we were arrested.”
