…AS KATSINA POLICE COMMAND RECOVERS 170 COWS, 38 SHEEP FROM RUSTLERS

It was a huge success of good over evil as the Katsina State Police Command has smashed a notorious syndicate of bandits that have been terrorizing Kankara and its environs in the state.
They had on May 10, 2021, about 11:00hrs, based on credible intelligence succeeded in arresting Isiya Halliru, 25 years; Nasiru Bature, 17 years, Bello Hamza, 20 years all male of Panteka village, Musawa Local Government Area, and Hassan Iliyasu, 25 years of Masaurari village, Kankara Local Government Area of the state.
The police spokesperson of the state, SP Gambo Isah who confirmed the various arrest and recovery explained that the suspects were arrested with 170 cows and 38 sheep suspected to be rustled.
It was learnt that during the investigation, the suspects confessed that the animals belong to their masters living in the dreaded Rugu forest, who failed to show up hence they claimed ownership of the suspected animals.
However, the animals have been handed over to the state standing committee for further necessary action as the investigation continues.
In another development, a notorious homosexual who specialises in abusing minors has been arrested.
Muhammadu Auwalu Aliyu, alias ‘DANMAIWAINA’, is a 31 years old male of Abattoir Quarters, Katsina, is known for his notoriety as a serial rapist who specialized in abusing children.
He was nabbed on Monday, May 10, 2021, at about 21:00hrs after the police command were hinted about their activities and abode.
As at the time of arrest, he was said to be having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor (name withheld) against the order of nature.
In the course of the investigation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the offence and stated that a ritualist gave him the idea to do it as a ritual right or obligation so that he can get anything from any VIP or rich person within the society. The investigation is still ongoing.
