As part of its 5th year anniversary, the Igbekeleoluwa Foundation, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, donated an ultra-modern conference hall, and rolled out another round of empowerment initiatives targeted at the youths, entrepreneurs, and students of Ikere-Ekiti, in what has been described as a bold step in grassroots development and citizen-focused philanthropy.
The newly built facility, named in honour of His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adejimi Adu Alagbado, the Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom, was officially unveiled and commissioned by legal luminary and elder statesman, Asiwaju Wole Olanipekun, SAN, who was full of praise for the founder of the Foundation, Engineer Ayodele Igbekele.
In his remarks, Asiwaju Olanipekun, while declaring open the Ultra-modern Hall, commended Ayodele’s unwavering commitment to the growth of Ikere Kingdom, praying for continuous blessings for the donor.

The event, which was attended by political and community leaders, beneficiaries, family, friends and other dignitaries, also featured the distribution of grants and scholarships to dozens of beneficiaries across various sectors, including school students.
In his address, Engineer Ayodele reaffirmed the mission of the Foundation to support human capital development, particularly among the less privileged. “Our vision remains clear: to create opportunities, improve lives, and ensure development at the grassroots level. The best way to predict the future is to create it,” he said.

He further noted that the Foundation’s initiatives, which span education, economic empowerment, and infrastructure development, are designed to complement the efforts of the Ekiti State Government in promoting inclusive and sustainable development. “We align our work with the government’s agenda because we believe in partnership for progress. Our town, Ikere-Ekiti, must not be left behind in the development story of our dear state,” he added.

Since its establishment in 2020, the Igbekeleoluwa Foundation has impacted thousands of lives through scholarship awards, business start-up support, and humanitarian interventions. Saturday’s event marked yet another chapter in the Foundation’s consistent efforts to uplift Ikere-Ekiti and drive a legacy of service and hope.
