As part of its strategic synergy to bolster security in Kebbi State, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Magaji Kontagora, has received the new state Director of the Department of State Security (DSS), Mr. A. B Zubairu in his office.
During the courtesy call at the Police Headquarters, Birnin kebbi, they deepened discussions on enhancing the already existing synergy between the two agencies with a view to ensuring adequate security in Kebbi State for the socio-economic development of the state.
In another development, CP Ahmed Magaji Kontagora had also on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, received and addressed 262 newly passed out Constables from PTS, Sokoto, and posted them to Kebbi State.
They were addressed at the State Command Headquarters, Birnin kebbi.
While congratulating them, the CP lectured them on discipline and professionalism in discharging their duties.
He urged them to be civil, and polite and respect the human rights of the people they are serving, avoids drunkenness while on duty, and dereliction of duty until they are properly relieved. He cautioned them on the need to dress neatly and smartly while ensuring punctuality.
He admonished them to desist from the night journey, avoid traveling in uniform, and be wary of social media, more especially during the electioneering period.
