In continuation of his statewide project inspection and commissioning program tagged “Kinetic Abia Tours”, Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, will on Friday, January 22, 2021, in company of His Eminence, Nzie Nzi Eke,
Prelate and Moderator of The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, commission the reconstructed Eziukwu Road, Milverton Avenue and Ojike Lane, in Aba South Local Government Area of the State, being part of projects executed by his administration.
To accompany the Governor who will also inspect other ongoing projects in the state are, the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, and members of the State Executive Council; the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji and members of Abia State House of Assembly; State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon. Asiforo Okere and members of the state working committee; Members of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Abia State Chapter, led by Mr Michael Ibe; Members of Abia State Traditional Rulers Council led by Eze Joseph Nwabekee; Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Abia State Chapter, and other clergymen in the state.
According to the press statement by the Honorable Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, other dignitaries to grace the occasion include, the Presidents of Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA), Aba Sports Club and Chairman of Aba Landlords Association; Leaders of Civil Society Organizations in the state; Leaders and members of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) and other transport unions in Aba and the State Chairman and members of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
