Distinguished Senator Nkechi Nwaogu has described the deaths of Lady Adanma Okpara, the wife of Late Sir Michael Okpara, the first Premier Eastern Region and Chief (Mrs) Victoria Aguiyi Ironsi, the wife of the first Military Head of State, General James Thomas Umunnakwe Aguiyi Ironsi, as an end of a golden era.
Senator Nwaogu disclosed this today in her condolence messages released to newsmen through her Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Onyendi Victor Kelechi.
Senator Nkechi Nwaogu described Lady Adanma Okpara’s sojourn on earth as worthy of emulation and reiterated that her memories will remain evergreen in our minds.
Ugonwanyi ndi Igbo said that the death of Mama Adanma Okpara has left everyone bewildered and has created a huge vacuum which only God can fill but give God the praises that the late Matriarch lived a fulfilled and dedicated life.
In the same vein, Senator Nwaogu said, the demise of Chief (Mrs) Victoria Aguiyi Ironsi, will remain unforgettable in our hearts, noting that she played an important role in her personal success story.

Senator Nwaogu reiterated that the enormous contributions made by the nonagenarians in the development of the country will remain evergreen in the minds of Nigerians.
The distinguished Senator later prayed that God will grant Noble matriarchs eternal rest and their respective families, State and country the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
