The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, Olohundare Moshood Jimoh on Wednesday, 12th November, 2025 officially commissioned a new access gate at the Ikeja divisional headquarters Lagos Command.
The new gate would facilitate easy for visitors going to the Ikeja police division, the logistics and supply in the works department, the comprehensive healthcare center of the Lagos State Police Command, the ICT department , the k9 of B Operations department as well the police children schools.
Until now, there was only one gate in front of the Area F Command and that makes it cumbersome for visitors who had to resort to asking questions before they can locate the Ikeja division.
Therefore, according to CP Jimoh, the new gate will also make it easier to locate the Special Protection Unit, which is very close to the police station.
The CP during the ceremony commended the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ikeja Division, CSP Oke Akinwunmi for his efforts in creating the new access gate which will go along way in ensuring the smooth movement of officers and men as well as visitors to all the police formations.
Present at the ceremony included Area Commander Area F, ACP Paul Azuka Okafor, DPO Ikeja division, CSP Oke Akinwunmi and CSP Tunji Alapini junior Commander Special Protection Unit Ikeja base.
