…alleges Holy Spirit recommends intercourse to cleanse spiritual mark

A Pastor in the Lord Chosen Church, Canaan Land Branch, Oshodi, Nduka Anyanwu, has impregnated two sisters in Lagos.
The 28 year-old pastor, who resides at No 5 Arowojobe Street, Oshodi, Lagos, caused a mild drama as he resisted arrest by the police thereby creating a melodramatic scene.
It was learnt that the culprit who hails from Ahiazu Mbaise in Imo state, has been having sexual intercourse with the two sisters aged 17 and 13 years old respectively before getting them pregnant.
Pastor Anyanwu, who was eventually arrested by officers from the Makinde Divisional Police Station, Oshodi, had alleged that during the Covid-19 pandemic, he noticed some strange behaviours in the elder sister (name withheld) whom he wanted to marry.
He further claimed that after a fasting and praying season to seek for God’s intervention about the girl’s misdemeanor, the Holy Spirit ministered to him that there were some spiritual marks on her body that could only be removed through sexual intercourse.
Although he never denied responsibility for their pregnancies, averred that the parents gave their consent to a relationship with the elder sister hence anytime the girl complained that he (pastor) was touching her sensitive parts of the body, they never objected or questioned the pastor.
Both girls are Junior and Senior Secondary School students. The pastor explained that he is only interested in the elder and wants to marry her but it was the devil that pushed him hence he started having intercourse with the younger sister too. Admitting that he impregnated both sisters, he explained how the whole messy amorous relationship got started.
“During Covid-19 pandemic, I noticed some strange behaviours in my proposed wife. I informed her parents that I don’t like her attitude because I don’t want any stumbling block when we marry in future.”
“I fasted and prayed for God’s direction. Then, the Holy Spirit ministered to me that there was a spiritual mark on her body that could prevent good things coming to her in the future. I got a revelation that the only way to remove the spill was to have carnal knowledge of her. “
“When I approached her for sex, she refused vehemently and I reported to her parents who insisted that she must accept it,” the pastor reiterated.
He further explained that, “I will marry the elder one, but I am pleading that the younger sister to abort her own pregnancy. It was the devil that pushed me to have carnal knowledge of the younger sister. I have proposed to the elder sister (my wife) who is still in Secondary School 2.”
The 17 year-old teenager (name withheld), told our correspondent that the Pastor started abusing her when she was in JSS 2.
“I reported to my parents that I don’t like the way the Pastor used to play with me by touching my sensitive parts of my body. Instead of reprimanding the pastor, my parents never confronted him.”
“I want to further my education and I am not interested in marriage at this stage of my life. Pastor Anyanwu is evil. How can a man of God be having sexual intercourse with two sisters to the extent of getting us pregnant?”
“Worst still, I did not know he was sleeping with my younger sister as well.”
“If anybody had told me that my parents were behind this whole shame, I wouldn’t have believed because anytime he made advances at me and I informed my parents, they never asked him anything until the day he forced me in the name of spiritual mark cleansing of my body and raped me.”
It was learnt that the pastor who had put up some resistance to arrest, was eventually arrested based on the intervention of a non-governmental organization, Advocates for Children and Vulnerable Persons Network (ACVPN), Stop Abuse Foundation and other advocates who brought the matter to the Lagos Police Command at Makinde Divisional Police Station, Oshodi after the mother of the girls stood her ground that the pastor wouldn’t be arrested.
